Quality Under Car Services

• Alignment — Poor wheel alignment creates uneven tread wear, lower fuel mileage, poor handling and difficult steering.  We offer quality four wheel computer alignment using Hunter Alignment Equipment, the industry’s alignment technology leader.  Our lead mechanic, Ken Origer, has been doing suspension work here since 1986. 
• Brake Service — Great brakes are critical to your driving safety.  Jan Davis Tire Store relies on Bendix brake parts and original equipment manufacturers parts, installed by well trained technicians.  Our lead brake mechanic has been at Jan Davis Tire Store for fifteen years.
• Strut and Shock Service — Worn struts and shocks cause loss of ride quality, poor handling, longer stopping distances and loss of control.  Jan Davis Tire offers Monroe shocks, as well as Bilstein, KYB and Koni.
• Tire Service — Our trained technicians offer the highest quality tire service: mounting using Corghi rim clamp machines that do not damage or mar wheels, even twenty, and twenty-four inch sizes.  Balance is critical to good ride, we do it best!  Proper tire repair is the only type repair we offer.  Tires should be patched from the inside after inspection.
• Oil Change and Lube — For longer engine life and efficiency, regular oil change is a must.  We use Castrol as our bulk oil but stock many other brands of petroleum based and synthetic oil along with Fram and oem filters.
• Drive Axle and Constant Velocity Joint Replacement — Those are wear items that should be regularly checked and repaired when necessary.  We have both rebuilt and new assemblies.
• NC State Safety and Emissions Inspection — Jan Davis Tire Store is an official licensed
  NC State Inspection site.
